Sometimes I just enjoy the moment I am in, Relax to some music, and daydream of what I would like to see in my life and world. Though that which I daydream about rarely ever becomes reality, I at least get a moment of peace and hope from the daydream. I believe we all need moments in our day we just let go and allow our mind to wander some, a time to unwind and escape the stresses of the day.

Other times I just write out my random thoughts on one of my blogs, it helps me process what is going on in my life and the world around me. It is quite therapeutic and seems to have both a destressing quality and a mental focusing effect for me. And when others like the posts or comment on them it even has the perk of giving me a sense of accomplishment or at least a feeling of appreciation.

I write for the joy of it, I am no great author but I do not write for money or fame. I encourage others to write for the therapeutic benefits and to express their feelings and thoughts as well. To me, the greatest reward of being creative is the completion of the creation more so than the popularity of what was created. Though I won’t lie, it sure is a nice bonus to have something you created being liked and popular.

I started my long road of writing in my youth, writing short songs for my family members when I was like 5 to 7 years of age. Then I eventually started writing what I considered poetry in my teens and continued that till about my 30s, that’s when I started doing the Blogging thing. Though I have taken long breaks from time to time I always return to writing for some reason or another.

Maybe one day I may try to write a novel, but I just do not see myself having the attention span nor the dedication to take on such a challenging project as that. But never say never, is what my mom always said to me so the future only knows what may come. For now, I will continue with my daydreams and the random thoughts that I post on my blogs and enjoy what imagination I still possess at my current age.
